HISTORY AND GASTRONOMY
- In the morning, departure from the "Relais de Buissonnet" by minibus, in the direction of one of the nicest region of France : the Périgord Noir.
- Arrival at the famous "Grotte de Lascaux" which is the first prehistoric site of Europe according to the number and the quality of its pictures. You will make the guided visit of this exceptional site
- Gastronomic lunch in the "Relais et Châteaux Le Centenaire" located in Eyzies de Tayac, capitale of the Prehistory.
- In the afternoon, you will continue to discover the region visiting Sarlat, a city right in the heart of the Perigord Noir. You will discover the narrow roads that conserved their medieval apparence, its Gothic and Renaissance restored hotels. Then, you will have a free time in the old Sarlat to stroll in the shops and buy local gastronomic and artisanal products (foie gras, walnut oil,...)
- Way back to Charente; arrival in the "Relais de Buissonnet" for dinner.
