Take part in a monteria is always a privileged moment in the life of a huntsman.

Spanish tradition "par excellence", we learnt from the monteria to which we were invited all the prestige of this tradition, the atmosphere that grips you in front of the spectacle of animals pursued by the packs of dogs, the intelligence of animals to sneak away, the diversity of shots that it brings, the code of ethics attached to it.

A great moment of hunting...

By their very principles, the monterias are organized in limited number each year
(2 or 3), during which the natural excedent is taken.

This year, the monterias will particularly concern the deers, the mouflons and the wild boars whose populations are numerous.

Little hunted on last year, the park has very great trophies of wild boars, some are 7 year old and should be about 160 kgs.

Last year, a very nice line of deers and mouflons gave us some gold medal trophies.

which will take place on early November.

Thursday evening

Arrival of huntsmen in Bordeaux

Transfer to St-Emilion for a gastronomic dinner in a prestigious place
After dinner, transfer to the Relais de Buissonnet
for the night

 . Friday morning

Arrival of tracks and whips

Hunting horns call
Collective prayer to Saint-Hubert
Monteria of wild boars
(with a few cervidae)
Oenological dinner in Buissonnet

Saturday

Ducks hunting

Lunch

Monteria of deers and mouflons


Bag and presentation of honours.
Gastronomic dinner.
in a medieval fortress of the XIth century.

Sunday morning

Transfer to Bordeaux
Departure of huntsmen.
